Steam partnered with AMD to create the Steam Deck. The Steamdeck is the new console for handheld gaminig. The console was released in multiple waves. Each console was reselling for a substantial amount on ebay by resellers. The highly anticipated Steam Deck went up for pre order in July of 2021. Those who ordered earliest received wave 1 ship dates, and would later receive their devides in Q2 of 2022. The first production run of the device was completed in Q2 of 2023. Resell for these items was unheard of due to increased shipping demand.
